Walking Bus

The Walking Bus was launched in May 2017 during Walk to School Week.  It is run by volunteers and is a collaboration between the School, Great Brickhill Parish Council and the local community.   It aims to give the children a healthy walk to school and reduce the effects of congestion around the school gates at morning drop off.  As a school, we are very grateful to the parents and other members of the local community who volunteer for the Walking Bus.

All children can use the Walking Bus and there is no need to register in advance.   Children meet at the Parish Hall between 8.30am and 8.40am and then walk  to school together to arrive by 8.50am.   Please see the leaflet for more details.

If you're interested in volunteering for the Walking Bus please contact the school office.

Currently the Walking Bus service is suspended due to COVID 19 restrictions- watch this space for updates. Thank you to all the volunteers who have made this service such a success and we hope it is able to get back up and running as soon as safe to do so!
