How to book - ParentPay

Once your child has started school, you will be sent a registration letter for ParentPay. It is important that you set up your account as soon as you can as this will allow you to pay for school meals and other school activities.

You have to book a meal for every day that you wish your child to have one.  The deadline for booking is 9am from the day of the booking.  Once you have booked you are able to amend or cancel your booking up until 9am on that day, after which time no changes can be made. If you have forgotten to book a school meal in time, please contact the school office will cater for your child where we can.

Pupils in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) so no payment is necessary.  However, we do still require meal bookings so that the catering team can prepare and cook sufficient meals for all pupils who require one.

Meals for pupils in Key Stage 2 (Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) are charged at £2.40 per meal, and this must be paid when booking.  Any late bookings will be charged to your account and must be paid within a week of that meal being taken.

If you have any issues booking please contact Michelle Hynes, Head Chef, via:

Allergies and Dietary requirements

Here at High Ash School we want all of our pupils to be able to access and enjoy high quality, freshly cooked hot meals during their time at High Ash.  The catering team therefore do everything they can to provide options, variations and alternatives to our standard meals.  This allows us to cater not only for the dietary needs and preferences of all pupils, but also their medical needs, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Please read the attached information on Allergen and Dietary meals for full details on options and processes.
