How to book - ParentPay

Once your child has started school, you will be sent a registration letter for ParentPay.It is important that you set up your account as soon as you can as this will allow you to pay for school meals and other school activities.

You have to book a meal for everyday that you wish to have one and the deadline for booking is 9am on the day of the meal. Once you have booked you are able to amend or cancel your booking up until 9am on that day. After this no changes can be made. If you have forgotten to book a school meal in time, please contact the kitchen and we will cater for your child where we can. 

Children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) so no payment is necessary but you must ensure that you still book online. Meals for children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 are £2.30 a day and this must be paid when booking. Any adhoc meals will be charged to your account and must be paid within a week of that meal being taken.

The school will notify you when new menus are available and you are able to book. You are able to book meals for whole term at once in advance or day by day.

Allergies and Dietary requirements

We cater for children with all sorts of allergies or dietary requirements. We feel that children should not miss out on the experience of enjoying school dinners just because they have an allergy or dietary requirement.

 

We provide an allergen key on our menus that shows all allergen ingredients in all of our menu options. If a menu item that usually contains a certain allergen ingredient is listed as not being included in the meal, it means that it can be amended for certain allergies. For example, Pasta Bolognese would usually contain gluten, however, this meal can be changed to be made with gluten free pasta. Please ensure you read the allergen information properly and if you have any questions please contact the catering manager who will be happy to answer any questions.

 

Allergen information is not provided for dessert options as we do not follow a set menu for desserts. However, if your child has an allergy we will provide them with an alternative dessert to what is on offer that day. For example, we can make certain desserts without, gluten, egg or dairy. Although, some desserts may not be exact replicas, we try to ensure that children do not miss out by providing a similar alternative on the day.

 

If your child has an allergy/ intolerance please ensure that you have informed both the school and the catering manager before ordering school meals.

If there are any changes to your child’s requirements, please inform us in writing and we can update our allergen records.
