In our approach to Science at High Ash we aim to:

• Provide an opportunity for all children to collect the skills and interest required to become scientists and to work scientifically within the wider world.

• Encourage all children to develop an interest and curiosity in science and to find links between scientific discoveries.

• Equip children to critically engage with Science to think independently, question, investigate and discover.

• Provide children with the scientific tools and vocabulary needed to explain and understand the uses of science.

We will adapt tasks and instructions for children where necessary, as well as provide additional adult support and have vocabulary and scientific diagrams/symbols available in all classrooms.
