I started as a Governor at High Ash in 2023, and have been the linked Governor for SEND and PPM.  I served as Co-Chair last year and am now Chair of Governors.  I have one child at High Ash in Hawthorn class and two older children who attended High Ash before moving on to secondary school.  My motivation for becoming a Governor was my own education at some excellent state schools in Staffordshire and a desire to play a real part in the strategy of the school at such a changing time for young people and education.  I work full time as a lawyer for HM Treasury and in my spare time (what little there is of it!) I enjoy playing in a couple of Orchestras (I play the Cello) as well as a gin and tonic in the garden!
