High Ash Church of England Primary School continues to demonstrate strong academic achievement across all key stages, consistently performing above local and national benchmarks.

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The June 2026 cohort comprised of 28 pupils. Overall, 85.7% (24/28) of children achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD), surpassing national benchmarks showing an improvement from 2025 data where 81.5% achieved a Good Level of Development. Disaggregated analysis confirms equity of outcomes and outstanding progress from baseline starting points across vulnerable groups.

Phonics Screening Check

• Year 1 Outcomes: 89% of all Year 1 pupils reached the expected standard (31+ marks), rising to 92% when excluding exemptions.

• High Attainment: 18% of Year 1 children achieved a perfect score of 40/40.

• Year 2 Retakes: Participating pupils achieved a 100% pass rate

 

Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)

• Average Score: The Year 4 cohort achieved an average score of 22.2 out of 25 (up from 20.1 in 2025), exceeding the previous national average of 21.0.

• Threshold Attainment: 97% scored 15 or higher, 87% scored 20 or higher, and 34% achieved a full score of 25/25.
